The Federal Skills Minister has warned the Baillieu Government its cuts to TAFE funding are putting at risk potential financial rewards from the Gillard Government.
Chris Evans says the $300 million TAFE funding cuts go against a commitment signed in April to improve training opportunities.
Senator Evans says it may be necessary to review the funding agreement with Victoria.
"This is difficult because we don't want to punish Victorians for the actions of their Government," he told ABC local radio.
"We are putting record funds in. But when they say to me that we want the reward funding, be rewarded for slashing TAFEs and closing campuses, I say to them you have got to be joking."
