Police hunt Victorian toilet bomber

Police in eastern Victoria are hunting for the person responsible for five toilet bombs.

Police were called to an explosion at a toilet block in Lake Tyers, in East Gippsland on Friday night, that destroyed a toilet bowl inside the building.

On Saturday night police were called to another explosion in a toilet block at Eastern Beach.

Similar explosions are being investigated at Lake Bunga Beach, Fisherman's Landing and Lake Tyers Beach in November last year.

Police believe the explosions were caused by home-made bombs or large fire crackers.
